i didnt go this year but i was just thinking how good this site is and was reading some of HW's Modus Operandi whilst you lot were having a good time, and have decided the guy is a legend! Big well done to all those who ran the weekend and set it up and prepped for it. I know from experience that it takes a huge effort and time so big thank you. question, can i pay an annual subscription or donation to be on here? I feel a bit guilty getting all this for free (tis a serious question give me a paypal addy and i'll donate)

Excellent event! The diversity of cars and general open mindedness of people made this one for me one the best events of the year. It was great to catch up with the usual suspects and I will make sure that my Carina is ready to roll for next year!

I couldn't make The Gathering but would still like to applaud all involved in what sounded like an exceptional show. Just one thing...I only recognised a couple of real names so any chance of listing the heroes forum names so they get more recognition?

Massive thanks from me! As all have said was truly awsome from the organisation to the guy's from afar and nightmares coming over mob handed to try and get huxley's BMW running (choked me that a real show still exists) This has reminded me what i really love about the car scene and what it should be like, the round of applause for you at the end was for ever person involved with it. ;D

Massive thanks from me and SWMBO to all of you, all the team for organising my favourite show and weekend of the year and to everyone who came, the atmosphere was awesome. It was great to put more faces to usernames/cars. A big thanks also to everyone that helped in whatever way to keep the chop running all weekend, it was much appreciated. Roll on RRG2010

I think you all did a sterling job. At risk of sounding a bit high and mighty but i go to loads of shows with the rolling road almost every weekend during the summer months. I therefore get to see a whole variety of ways in which things get done and different levels of organisation and i have to say that from what i saw that weekend, it was organised brilliantly. Ten times better than some much more widely recognised shows that i wont name incase i upset anyone lol. Thanks for making me and james feel welcome, we very much enjoyed playing the 'whats that' game watching the cars coming in through the gate. He's only 19 so a bit naive bless him so it was all a bit educational for him. Anyway, if i don't see any of you sooner ill see you all in 2010!

On most mobile dyno's you don't get that many info as we got from you guys! Overhere it's just: pay - run - get printout - bye

Without wanting to repeat all the previous posts i´d like to pass on a massive thanks from the all the "foreigners"! ;D I think the organising team did a fantastic job and a lot of the so called "professionally organised" meets could learn a lot from you! A big extra thanks to Ian and the track team, i´ve never been on track before and hadn´t planned doing it this year but John insisted i try to break the Nissan If the track day does get extended put me down on the list of helpers as i´m sure everyone will agree we need to spread the "load" a bit more evenly I hope the details get sorted and that the Diner can come back next year. This was the first show i´ve been to where the food was organised for a Friday night - great stuff and i´ll be bringing less food with me next year! I think maybe one or two more toilets on the camping ground wouldn´t go a miss, maybe it would be enough if they were serviced and emptied on the Saturday? We were on the road for 6 days and god knows what it all cost but it was worth every penny and we´ll definately be back next year. Even the misses had a good time, not bad considering she´s not into cars ;D Although i spent the whole weekend nattering to everyone i could find i still went away feeling i´d missed half of you but it was great putting names to faces. Any chance of doing it aweek earlier so i don´t get into trouble with the german school board for "extending" my lads´ summer holidays?

Just back from a 10 day trip to Scotland and the Lake district.
We got home Monday and left at 05.00 Tuesday.
However, never too late to say thanks to all concerned for organising, and all the cameraderie.
Roll on 2010.
