As BenzBoy said both of my motors started playing up.
Capri decided to either have a missfire or fuel starvation problem from the off really but it seemed to make it back.
The BGT's clutch is on it way out but thats fine its been in there for the time I have had the car.

Well the Prius made it home faultlessly, averaged nearly 50mpg and on a private stretch did 100+. :-)
Still would have preferred to go in the MGB if we'd had room for wife and child! Next year maybe.
Sorry to those that had issues. I was checking my AA membership on the MGB a few weeks ago so sure was I that a car that hadn't covered more than 20 miles in 4 years would break down!

i almost ended up on one because i was too stuborn to fill up on the way home, ariving home with only a gallon left in the tank!

had a adventurous journey in the cf,on thye way there two brakedown's, filled the tank up at the services and it fell off did the rest of the journey with a rachet strap holding the tank on! and the some sort of ignition problem going up the a303 came back without a problem though. did the lpg tranny get back ok?
