had great fun thanks to all for organizing it all. i was very surprised at how well the old tina got round the track really . second run was the most fun for me though as i did that one using pretty much just 3rd gear meaning coning out of the hairpin the speedo saw the fun side of 110mph even though the car was probably only doing about 30 ;D ;D torque you gotta love it ;D

Thanks again for running it again Ian, and getting the times up so quickly! Shouldn't be much longer.... Still got to unpack me car yet!!! Soft tyres required next year me thinks, can't be letting pesky FWD cars winning again! Even if they clearly were the way to go around there  and that's only excuse I'll use - real reason for being slower was the amount of fun to be had by using more of the loud pedal ;D and the better driver one I'd say LOL - tyres and pressures can make a big difference I'm not sure what people did between runs to change the set up on their cars if anything at all - no slicks please will be a rule on any future event if I'm involved again) road legal tyres only ("shaved" road legal is OK) like I said looks like it's a lot of fun on the gas ;D Wonder how fast that Midget would have been with a few more runs? In the 47's  I reckon 47 secs if he could keep it straight - he took third on the last run and it almost bit him as he floored it - it looked to me like the pedal needed a bit more travel as it was like a switch so hard to drive Can't wait for next year, or to see how Class D did  On it Results I mean ;D |

that track is so much fun. sorted the wiring issues out (hadnt zip tied a wire up and got melted on exhaust). not bad for first turning the wheels in anger since putting engine in.

Next year I'll take the Sunny round the track 100% ... of course I might abuse my position and head down for a few practice runs before hand Well done everyone that got out on the track and put on a great show for the people that were watching. |

I really want my E28 on track, but the gushing fuel leak and brake pad failure soon put an end to that. Luckily Bodieandoyle chucked me the keys to his '02 and I had a great time, though I really had to restrain myself since I didn't want to end up damaging if it all went wrong. Next year hopefully I'll be in something that doesn't chronically break down so I can go full throttle!

I really enjoyed that!
I think my mk5 cortina did well for what is a standard mk5 with a weber and exhaust!!!
SOOOO much fun!! ;D ;D
Roll on next year and more goes at this!! hopefully with more power and the suspension sorted out.

happy with 26th overall, not bad for a £1600 car (including £500 to buy it!). not totally quick, its built for fun. but then again, all of those parcipating had their cars built for fun  big up to Ian for sitting on his heiny all day doing the timing, the other marshall dude and especially to christian (bruisercapri) and rob (rob0r) for not breaking my 2002 three words describe that track- slippery as fook!! and dugong (he was number 58, posts as dugong on here ); you are officially mad. scando flicking a stock amazon into that hairpin is hero-worthy ;D ;D sure I can bring something quicker next year, but then I can't really drive  |

fun track to go round, currently asking about some gt6 stoppers as a lack of stoppin ability made the barrier too close for me to push it. next year will be great i hope!
