Like a lot of people on here i'm keen on the freecycle groups, this weekend I got myself a bbq!
In need of a bit of work, so i wire brushed it....
The body works isn't too bad. There is some surface rust, but no welding required
So I broke out the heat resistant satin black and layed down a couple of coats
check out the white walls, i think I need some chrome caps...
Then I took this bad boy for a test drive
oh, and the obligatory rat look rust patch:
Total cost £5.45 for paint and a brush, plus the diesel to collect it from about 4 miles away. PLus it means I can give the old man his gas BBq back and stop him moaning. Sweet
