After a rather interesting chat with Dom yesterday, I've been thinking about a budget low-pressure supercharger setup for most of today.
So far I have the following bits readily available for free:
2" SU from a Rover V8
Copius amounts of steel tube in diameters of 2"-5", collectors and so on
loads of toothed pulleys (in the same garage)
38 DGAS carb that's in a hell of a state. At the bare minimum it needs rebuilt and fettled
So...Would a suck-through design work?
2" SU > M45 intake > M45 Outlet > Shuv fannymould
I seem to remember that newer M45 generations tend to dislike fuel going through them...meaning I'd have to go for a Metro Turbo carb or similar?
