Okay there is a bunch of stuff to organise for RCS and I thought I'd start a new thread dedicated to it.
We have 17 tickets and 11 car passes coming, hopefully with plenty of time to send them out, or there will be much toing and froing for me on the 3rd and 4th.
Things that need organising.
Who is going to be where and when. So we can arrange some meet ups if needs be.
Which cars are being displayed.
Retro Rides flyers/leaflets + info to go with Retro Rides people at the show but not on our display.
Beverages, assuming a nice day some boxes of coke, water etc. from a whole saler would be great. If its a wet day, some way of making tea!
Anything else?
I'm trying to get some info on the procedure for entry to the show for display cars, times, places etc.

I'll bring:
Some folding chairs(2) and a disposable barbeque(1) probably some drinks and a few burgers.
I'm hopefully heading up on Saturday afternoon/early evening. From Dartford (anticlockwise) M25 and then up the M1.

Leah and myself will be heading over on Saturday from Rugby, I'm guessing mid afternoonish.
Can passes and suchlike be left on the gate with our names on? I know they can for Pod events such as BugJam and Big Bang...

I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

OK so I'm in then. Club Pug bash was at Cars in the park in Lichfield. had to balance a dozen old men with 404's and 304 convertibes going on about how the badges on my Zs are the wrong year for the car etc or a big bunch of modified fun wagons and slightly more animated company. I'll be arriving on the day (early). Can bring cool drink.
Also keen to help out with any notices needed etc. Car info etc. just let me know what you want. Can do nice colour prints at work on the old QMS colour laser.
Let me know what you want doing!

We'll arrive on the Sunday morning, early(ish), probably in the Mk1 Polo which can be displayed if required. It's in pretty good nick and quite 'retro'! Can bring any stuff that's needed and will fit in the Polo boot... ie. small things! ;D How long is it likely to take me to get to the 'Pod from Cheshire in a 4-speed Polo 1.1?

Plan to be up there sometime late saturday afternoon (A34 past Oxford, A43 to Northampton) complete with folding chairs, tent, food, and plenty of beer ;D.
Will be coming up with Marty, then the Toymota+2 will be arriving Sunday morning.
Just a little worried as my hydraulics batteries are knackered, so there won't be much in the way of wild dancing. Bum. Wonder if there are any power hookups about the place...
Would you like some money now for the tickets Mr HoTWire? I am happy to send a cheque, or shall we sort it out at the show?

Scraping : We can arrange money on the day if you want,.. It depends when the tickets arrive, if I have the chance to post them on to people then I'll do that before the show. (got a book of stamps in preperation). Rmad : good idea about the chairs,.. I'll see if I can bring a couple. 104ZS : if you can do some printing that would be great,.. I'll get the display stuff together and get it over to you some how. Darren : I'll enquire about the ticket stuff and leaving them at the gate when they arrive. Stu : check out www.rac.co.uk and use their route planner its very good. I'm travelling up on Saturday from Swansea, via Birmingham, going to stay at the Travel Inn (if they have space, not booked yet).

We'll be getting there early on Sunday morning in the T25.... (but being only 35/40 minutes away can arrive to suit, but we're probably going to BVF for the day on saturday) Obviously, MORE than happy for this to be displayed... it may not be the most 'Retro' of cars, but it's a good base to hang a banner, nd we'll bring tea making facilities and a powered coolbox (for both eventualities)

You Darren and some others I think,.. Yeah camping seems to be booked seperatly,.. so individuals will have to handle their camping arrangements. If your sleeping in the car I'm sure you can find a free lay-by to sleep in ,..
