;D ;D And he's even offered to MOT it for £200. Looks like I've got another one, I'll have to talk to a farmer about keeping some cars on his land the wheels are not to my taste, but look ok for now. Thinking ATS Classics, lower, that kind of thing

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

even without MOT it's a bargain, it's so clean and tidy, the pics don't really do it justice. Some grot on a wing, but red audi's are hardly rare , and that's about it.

it's only the baby 2.0 car is actually a sport, so lower stiffer, nice interior and some extra gauges inside. it's a cheap to run, quality car to blat about in for a while, possibly ending up sat on the floor with silly wide wheels and skinny tyres

ed, possibly, but I'm swaying toward the low and phat euro stance at the moment, not seen it done on one yet. reanimation, the sport was a higher trim (lovely seats!), has lower and stiffer suspension, slightly deeper bumpers (i think!) and extra VDO gauges for oil pressure, temp and volts. Its a shame it's not a 5 cylinder quattro, but then I can't have it all, to be fair, FWD audi's are nice anyway cos they have the engine mounted the right way, and have equal driveshafts, the balance in the 4 cylinder 2.0 cars feels so "right" even when pushed, especially with the sports suspension. Oh yeah, has that ali spoiler too, which just looks nicer on them, and take the guess work out of reversing

The low and phat euro stance sounds like a good plan to me, and maybe later look out for a 5 cylindar lump to throw in looking forward to seeing the transformation

nah, I'm not gonna go too mad with the power on this one, want to use it daily and take the van off the road for a while, save for the subaru engine I keep threatening to drop in!

Looks great! Lots of potential. ed, possibly, but I'm swaying toward the low and phat euro stance at the moment, not seen it done on one yet. It's true... The only ones I can find are the later, facelifted shape or Coupes and Convertibles!

CR500 Dom, if you'll let me have it for £200 I'd consider? provided it's MOT'd I've been looking for a 90 quattro since mine went really, but this came up, and the price is right.

Thought the 80 Sport was a 2.0 16v, in which case it'll be the 6A engine like the one I just fitted in my Golf. Maybe there are 8 valve one's too though, not clued up on them really. Looks good anyway and nice price! If it is the 6A you should be able to fit some decent cams in it from a Golf 16v and liberate a load more power, like +25bhp or so!
