I really really really want a top spec bronze mk1 Granada!
I just love the shape. It might have to have an engine and gearbox transplant though.
Or even a rat look mk1 with big V8!
Either way, I really want one!
Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Oh yes! I've always liked the mk1 anyway and prefer it to the mk2. It just has more presence and class than any of the rest. I even really like the raty matt black one used in the Classic Ford Mag buyers guide a while ago.

Ooh! A coupe! Very nice.
Though for me it has to be the saloon.
That is gorgeous looking though.

Gotta love a granny! Still enjoying the smooth ride of my old mk2. I've already planned to get a Mk1 next, but i'm gonna opt for a Coupe! Saloons are cool, but Coupes look the buisness! There used to be a coupe near me, horid bright orange colour but was pulled along by a mustang V8! was the tits!

That 2 door does look nice!
The Cosworth conversion on the mk5 'tina is coming along fairly well, just got to source a radiator (might have found a 2.8i Capri one) and a pair of Capri 2.8i front discs.
I'm not sure I'd want to put the cosworth v6 into a mk1, I don't think it suites the cars character. I think it would have to be a V8. I might save the V6 for the Scimitar I'm also lusting after (once I've wrapped the 'tina round a sign post on a wet roundabout).

Hehe, mine isn't as tidy as in my sig pick anymore I'm afraid. After two years of ownership away from the sfaety of a garrage the climate has started to attack it and the doors are now pock marked with rust. Real shame as she looks stunning in the photo.
Street, what name did you go as? I see you have a mk3 Escort so that's a start.
Mine is still half built in the garage and I really regret going so far with it as although it'll be a really smart car when done I could have had a really smart something else modified to the hilt instead such as a mk1 Granny!
The scort will get finished, the 2.0lre Zetec is half fitted (got to finish the head) and just about everything else is done. I'll probably use it for a year and then prehaps sell it (at astronomical loss) to try and fund something more 'me'.
