Besides the rest of the crud I have on my platter at the moment........
Found out that up the road from me, in Kettering, that there's a really nice Sprint for sale, for a bargain price - the ex-testbed car of Jigsaw Racing. It's in yellow, bit of a dog inside and out but a friendly one. Stage one head, AVO's, bucket seats, polybrushed, sports exhaust, the bizness.
Now, considering that even shocking Sprints are making 700 quid (seen the red one - stupid, sounds like the underside's ragged) it's an absolute bargain and has 10 months MOT to boot.
BUT NOOO, I have no-where to put it and need to get rid of my 1850 first. There's garages (as pointed out, very kindly!) round here for 7 quid a week, so that'd make it 42 quid till christmas. ....but no guarantee I could sell mine then I might be limbered with it for ages.
However.
Do you think it'd be wise of me just to take it on, bite the bullet, get a garage, get the car, release some of my gaff by taking it for a spin now and then and screw the consequences? Either way I think I could probably make money on it if I sold it off, as it's supposed to be put together briliantly. Maybe i'll try fob a look at it somehow. I'll be honest, I could do with having something to play with honest as I'm a bit down at the moment too!
It's just that with the market price of sprints getting higher and higher it might be the case that I can't afford one, say, come next year and will be down and out...and as that's currently what I'm after....
So, anyone else had any experiences like this? Sorry to spam, but it's just Ferrruzzzzstttrating!

It has AVO fully adjustable shock absorbers fitted all round with lowered uprated springs. It has a new stainless sports exhaust system and a Stage I cylinder head. It also has a new AP uprated clutch that has just been fitted together with a new ring gear, and the flywheel was lightened at the same time. The rear suspension has been refitted with Polybush polyurethane bushes. 5 owners, 10 months MOT.
