Is it possible, or even legal to get short term cover on a car that has an existing policy on it.
Say for instance a car is used day to day with no mods and insured as such, could a short term policy be used to cover it for a short period with the mods declared on the temporary cover and then converted back to stock the rest of the time.
Is it likely that the electronic quote forms of short term insures will access the insurance database and just flag up a sorry we can not cover this car message if it shows as having an existing policy?
Cheers Mark.
