would some bbs wheels for a mk2 golf fit on to a corsa? i was thinking of getting a corsa but doing something a bit different with it. like this: ropey photoshopping i know but you get the idea. plus I'm not even sure those are bbs wheels but they're close enough to see what it looks like

There's a Corsa B on the Euro scene with gold wire rims and leopard-print wing mirrors. I love it.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

it looks interesting, but just can't like a Corsa. Worse car I have ever experienced. Cheap interior was bad enough, but the god awful engine really did make you want to kill yourself. you'd pull out of a junction expecting to move, and you didn't. was quicker to walk. quite possibily the worst engine in the world. plus, we once left a Corsa for dirt in a Punto 60 that was 4 up...why not go for BBS rims on a Punto

First Car I drove was a Punto and that was the worst thing ever, slow, noisy and flimsy, I adjusted the rearview mirror one day and it fell off. After that my instructor had Corsa B's, the 1.2 and 1.4 and both were very nippy and could suprise a lot of 'better' cars, I wouldn't complain if someone gave me one tomorrow, great little cars and the performance ones are pretty fast.

CORSA!!! !!!WTFBBQ!? Yuk yuk yuk. Absolutley FOUL creations. My O/H used to have one.... 995cc, 3 cylinders which actually sounded like a lawnmower and absolutely NOTHING resembling performance. Oddly for a small 'city' type car the steering & clutch were unusually heavy. And the worst part was the utter discomfort of driving the thing.... I just couldn't get the seat positioned so the steering wheel wasn't rubbing against my legs and I wasn't all squished up, & it's not like I'm even very tall. Urgh. Just makes me shudder. If you have to buy one (and christ knows why..) your BBS rims will bolt straight on - but just watch your offsets otherwise you'll have rubbage / wear issues. Although you'd do much better to buy..well. just about anything else.

Was that a Corsa A though Mr. B?

Don't know... aren't 'A's the Nova type? It was one of these:

Ah you're possibly right actually Nick, think the Nova is the A, 'your' one is the B and the top one is the C, anyway, having been in a B I can say the C is dramatically improved and a totally different car, certainly what id go for if I was looking for something along those lines.

The only good thing about them is the E-Pas steering column. You can use it with a quickrack you see ;D So now 8" wide front tyres huge Neg castor angles and a quick rack are all possible You can even have variable assistance dependant on speed or a Pot to adjust it and a button for max assistance ;D Hairpin time Its the favourite new toy of the rally boys in MK2 Escorts ;D

That top Corsa on the BBS rims looks the nuts - I'm sure the P.C.D on the later Corsas are still 4 x 100 but i'm guessing the stock offset is still 49mm meaning that most BBS rims mean't for VWs etc will stick out somewhat from the arches hence 'euro look' is un-avoidable - saves on the cost of the spacers the VW lot have to buy It seems that people have an absolute hatred for the later Vauxhalls often their reasons unfounded normally based on associated image - I must admit most of the cars in the range are very middle-of-the-road but generally they are pretty reliable and well made. I've owned two Novas and a Corsa, my Dad still drives a 95 Corsa, and whilst I can't claim them to have been great cars they have all been reliable, cheap to run & easy to work on. This was my Corsa, taken about 6 -7 years ago, my tastes have changed somewhat now but I still think the styling looks quite fresh considering its 13 year old design - shame the same can't be said for the 25 year old technology making up the suspension Vauxhalls have always made good engines but attached them to mediocre chassis' - and normally mounted the gearstick too far back ;D
