Looking really good in that photo, different wheels too. You can always get another one later in life Spent last night practicing lettering... Then I get home and swmbo makes reason for her name and makes me remove it. We also improved a hood for my friends aspen project. It had been ruined by a guy who was supposed to sand blast it. We made it all serious but as usual spilled a beer on it a few minutes after painting, so we gave it a vintage look

The Scandinavian region is like "The South" of the European continent, haha. My guess would be north sweden and finland is closest, we've probably got the same attitude towards the rest of europe (and the stockholm/helsinki region) as rednecks got to "yankees" too ;D Not even speaking about the excessive use of the rebel flag up here ;D

Well theres only one thing for that, welded diff ;D I mean talk about the car giving you a hint! Absolutely! ;D As the carrier made it, and i didn't see any cracks in the pinion and CROWN wheel (although it looks like one in the pic..) i hope a massive amount of weld will sort it, and cure the sporadic one-wheel problem i've got Good thing i'll have to mot it this month too...

The sad news are that it's a 2.56... Totally worthless in other words ;D At least it does this anyway: It's a whole lot more fun too. Although i'm really really feeling the need for a 3-dot-something rear now that i've found out where the "fault" is

I've made a template for a gauge and switch panel for the center console. I'll make it out of the same aluminium as the stereo frame. Those gauges are only for test fit, i'll buy new ones for the actual piece. Not any led-illuminated 10 color ones mind you ;D

Today some parts arrived, polyurethane bushings for the front end, water temp and oil pressure gauges, shift kit and yellow h4's The new parts getting a thorough inspection. Even tough i'll have to remove them again when i install the bushings for the a-arms i couldn't wait to fit the sway bar bushings and ends, as the old ones were pretty bad. Car jacked up without having touched anything.. And after.

I tried mot'ing it yesterday, didn't go too well, although luckily he didn't find anything too major, like for instance a nun-killing welded diff, or something equally life threatening. He actually only used the phrase "life-threatening" once, success! ;D Here's the list Both seatbelts had cuts in them Right rear light burnt out Indicators too far from outer edge of car Rear lights tinted Rear spring front bushings worn Rust hole too close to right rear spring mount Rear left subframe rusted and collapsed (because of improper repair) Both front fenders rusted No horn Worn rear tires ..and probably some more I don't recall

now i cant think why the rear tyres would get worn esp with a welded diff lol
but the rear subframe sounds serious maybe a spend on summit racing or similar site for some new parts?
ive always fancied an earlier front end on mine (sharknose) in Glassfibre like a flip front but they are megga expensive and even more to import ggrrr

These two are making their way home to me at me moment, and i'm excited as a little schoolgirl. They're 16x7 and et0, and wrong stud pattern for my car. Although I think that's easily fixed, considering the price I payed. Does anybody know if the centre bore is the same for the big and small chevrolet bolt pattern?
