got some new exhausts for the Plymouth I need to modify the downpipes with header flanges for them to fit. Then maybe fit some turndowns on them to keep the soot off the floor. Reckon I'll get an MOT on it first... If anyone wondered why this type is called "straight through" then have a looksie PaulMi16 really liked them. More in another post later... LOL.

I would imagine it will sound:
1. Very loud!
2. Very cool!
So I can't see a problem ;D

I dunno about loud exhausts on V8s. A stock V8 with loud exhausts/open headers sounds bloody awful. However with a decent cam and a lumpy idle its the best sound ever.

I dunno to me a loud stock v8 sounds curse word. There was a Corvette drag car over here with a stock 400ci Pontiac motor on open headers (amongst other impressively bad bodges). It was easily the worst exhaust note i've ever heard, though I have grown up with modified V8's
