Thanks for the kind words Hairnet600. Pleased you like it. I hope the brief drive convinced you to buy a Kadett. Thanks for posting a piture of me by the way (git! ) Yep, I won the steelies ;D Shipping cost is half what I though it was too , I must have confused it with something else. The engine is a 2.0 with a 2.2 cover. However, I happen to know where there might be a 2.7 CIH for sale. Serious motor! Not cheap, but I gotta have it.

I don't really get on too well with the neighbours, they think I am the son of Satan. I don't think they like being woken up by the sound of straight cut gears on a Sunday morning You will not go unrewarded Ministrone

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone I wish I could claim the credit for building it, sadly though I decided to be a bit of a lazy and buy one already done this time. Far more cost effective On the positive side, it means that I can concentrate on tunning the balls out of it! I'm thinking; 2.7 CIH, twin 48's, lumpy cam, dustbin lid sized valves, and a sweet little 262 getrag dog-leg box. It also means that I get to enjoy driving 'round in a cool motor that much sooner.
