Hi. Can anyone tell me what the top of the range model of the volvo 340 is called please. The one with elec windows/mirrors, heated seats etc. Thanks

Yeah, My sister had a GLT which was top spec. Electric everything, heated seats etc.

would it not also have been a 360, not a 340? assuming you mean the 300 series in general.

Thanks guys. The reason i asked was that my mum bought one new from Volvo in 1988. A blue 4 dr automatic with elec windows & heated seats etc. I thought I would pos get one in the future as a bit of nostalga, as I used it as my first car. It was sold to someone local to me who ended up trashing it & ended up in a scrappy. Shame really. How much would a really good example set me back do you think?

have a look on ebay and piston heads, they pop up all the time due to the rwd ness

340 top of the range was the GLE (1.7) which had leccy windows, heated seat etc...
360 top of the range was the GLT (2.0) which had the same as above but also colour coded bumpers, bigger engine and also leather a lot of the time

yeh,i doubt they did the glt in met blue and an auto...that would make it belt drive wouldnt it? gle sounds a better bet
