Good to see i'm not the only one that had wheels around the house. I have a c36 AMG mag as a foot rest under my desk. It's got a crack in the back that i'm told couldn't be fixed so I got it for free! This is my shed, I have 4 more of these rims. They came on one of my cars that had been stacked, as you can see this was pretty hard. There is a good 2" of metal missing from the lip. They are called "Hot Wires". I'm not sure who made them but mine are the only ones I've ever seen that had center caps that cover the black section in the middle. And i'll post this up again, my newly painted CSA rims on my 02. Cheers

Wheels around the house: GF comes home to find these in the living room, I'm looking like a chimney sweep from a day of hard polishing, dog is looking depressed because wheels getting more attention than him.....and his blanket is being used to stop the wheels scuffing the floor. Her reaction? "Blimey honey - I never thought they come up as shiny as that. Fancy a cuppa? Make sure you have a shower before you go to bed.....last time it took two washes to get all the oil out of the sheets. I dunno - you boys and your cars" SWEEEEETT!!! BTW Datman, I think those are Enkei Baja's which are the rarer and (IMHO) even funkier version of the Turbovec. Looking sweet ;D

TBH I think there's some room for improvment here. Get polishing, and paint the back of the wheel too! Tell me about it, I'll get to them this week sometime. I'm almost out of things I don't need a welder for (that should be here next week maybe...) so i'll do them to fill in the space.

Yay for wheel pron! Seth , are those Keystones ? I just picked up a very tatty set of similar looking wheels of a workmate who was gonna take them to the tip ! I couldn't let them go to the landfill ;D so they now join my collection of tatty old wheels which I really ain't got time to refurbish ! Lotus rims for the Lupo ... Riviera's for the bug ... Plus I've got these on the Polo ... And a set of black 7" x 15" penta's on the wifes T4

Hi long long loooooong time no post!!!! Here's most recent photo of rims, at my place. Trumpy behind them has sadly departed. The wide longchamps sadly did not belong to me, I was merely the custodian of them for a long period. And my most recent wheel adventure - these are for my Honda Torneo (so not retro...). Stripped them of their previous 'shadow chrome' coating, and had them powdercoated... They're an Enkei RPM-2 'Bortex' 17x7 +40 offset, they've just been bolted to a white car. Looks awesome, tends to polarise opinion.

Those ones with the plate in from of them are the same as the ones my mate had on his ae86. He's now running mini lights.

You're supposed to use a hubcap with spokes

I didn't get any of the bits with mine , apparently they were on a Honda that my workmate bought and he changed them for alloys and left these in his shed for many many years ! I'm not sure on the width but the tyres are 195 / 60 - 14"s so they are probably between 62 and 7" wide and the pcd's are 4 x 108 mm and 4 x 114.3 mm . It's nice to see a set in such good condition as the ones I've got here need a good dose of autosol and some elbow grease !

Similar size to mine as well then though mine are only 4 1/2" pattern and came off a mural painted TR6. I got to play with the wire baskets They can look good painted. Retrowagon's uncle built a red Pop with a cream painted set on, which was subsequently bought by a freind

I had thought of maybe polishing up the rim and painting the centres but to be honest with you I ain't got a car to fit them on without making some more adapters up and I'm already busy making a set for the lotus rims and also sorely tempted to make a set to fit the rivieras on the Polo for a change
