All the 1:43s are Vangaurds, normally about £10 each....the Eastern European stuff differs, all the stuff was bought from a model shop that used to be in Middlesbrough (closed now), but I'd imagine some of the stuff was quite rare. it's joint between my dad and I, we just buy them when we fancy them, only problem is that we've run out of room so may have to fit more shelfs. The only ones i'd part with would be the Ferrari's. I've never worked out a total coz I'm not really bothered about it, I just like collecting them...I'm really liking the 'Boy Racer' series on offer from Vanguard atm, just waiting for them to do a model of a Skoda! The Skoda t-shirt is a local section one and is really comfortable...so gets worn quite a lot - glad you noticed!

I've recently acquired a collection of Japanese Konami 1:64 scale stuff... incredibly detailed for the size, I shall post some pics of the 20 strong (so far) collection, which includes stuff like Isuzu Bellet GTR, KPGC10 Skyline GTR, KPGC110 Skyline GTR, Z432 Fairlady, TE27 Toyota Levin.... among others! Otherwise I have a few 1:43 Alfa 155 DTM cars, Solido 1:43 Sud, Minichamps 1:43 Sud, and a load of Jada 1:24 J cars (WRX, GTR, Evo, Silvia etc) and a collection of 4 1:24 scale models from the Japanese Initial D anime series (AE86, FC3S RX7, FD3S RX7, R32 GTR). Will post some pics soon if anyones interested

What's those Konami ones like, I saw them on toyeast.com and thought they look quite nice! As for me I'm more into 1:18's but I have a few 1:43's as well. My fave 1:18 is a red Ford Escort MK1, best thing about it is that it's not a sports one, just a 1300L, when I got it the rear bumper was hanging off slightly at one side but I've left it like that because it adds to the character. I've also got Lancia Delta road car, 240Z road car, a real cheapo Mini I was given, Quattro rally car (cheapo but really good quality considering) and an Impreza I got for a tenner. There's a really nice RS200 road car in the shop I want to get when it comes down in price.

Hi skodanorman, check out Ebay for "Ogle Scimitar GTE" made by corgi, there are a few on there at the moment, but they can be expensive if you get one sealed in its original packaging from 1970. The pewter effect ones are on Ebay. 1/93 are about £7 each and the 1/32 is about £39. The soft metal kit by Mikansu are very rare, especially in its original packaging, un-built with instructions and the orange Scimitar gte was made by Pathfinder. The last Scimitar by pathfinder I saw sold for about £238 on Ebay.... they are like hens teeth! Dave from www.sporting-reliants.com

You have expensive taste! The Scimitar you like is the Pathfinder model. They were a limited condition and did them in two colours, either orange or blue. You can't buy them new any more, but do turn up on Ebay from time to time, if you are prepared to spend £200 + I bought mine from Italy, without a box and it cost me £70.00. Search for Pathfinder Model in Ebay. There is a Rover model going for about £350 at the moment!! Regards Dave
