I know of a guy that will do any colour on any tyre... He bands YOUR tyres.

The bloke who lives across the road from me got white lines installed on low profile 18" tyres. They looked absolutely fantastic for the first few days but then there were some roadworks in our area. The white lines picked up dirt quickly and were difficult to clean. Still looked okay, but they were never as good looking as that first day!

I'll see if I can get some pics for you, but I don't think they're on his car anymore. He changes his wheels and tyres as often as once a month, usually because he gets pulled over for having 18" wheels. The last time I saw him cleaning them it involved quite a lot of rubbing with various things, ranging all the way up to white spirit. They came out white with a slight brownish tint after all that. |
