Price: £1,500 ovno
Additional Information:
She's a 1976 (R) early single strap parcel self car ( Shelf sadly missing ) with 69,500 odd miles, garage kept all her life and I'm the third owner.
I bought her in feb of this year after a 10 year lay up after her 2cond owner died. Just before the owner died I was told the car had extensive bodywork done and a full respray. She has been welded over the years and will need a little in the future in both nearside inner wheel arches and a little on the front of the sills where it meets the floor. (these were advisories on the MOT) the front inner arch is the worst. All the outer arches are good as are the door bottoms / tailgate / bonnet and boot floor. she does need the floor bungs renewing (not dear)
Inside can only be described as near mint condition apart from the parcel shelf the only other trim missing is the very last piece of trim from the center console.(can be seen in pics) There is also a small hole on the top of the back seat back. The headlining has sagged but as one piece and due to the stitching front and rear you wouldn't really notice.
The engine starts first touch of the key hot or cold even if left for two or three weeks and has 30psi oil pressure when going along and 15psi at tick-over hot. The auto-box changes up and down as it should and the kick-down works. There's no smoke or funny noise from the engine and the temp gauge has never gone above 90. I would say though she would benefit from a service and tune up although I would drive her anywhere.
Generally I would say she is a 7 out of 10 overall and she gets a lot of attention at the shows I've been to with her.
I've only used her on nice days and have loved it.
If you want any pacific pictures please ask and I'll happily take them. I would welcome anyone wanting to come and see her.
Cheers Craig
