That is a very turbocharged engine, 32 valve ford? or hemi? Said something about 1800, could that be BHP?
I can only imagine that it must shift, lots

Thats either a Big Block Hemi (Chrysler) or it might be a Super rare Ford "Cammer" Hemi, which was a Single over head cam SOHC per bank. 429ci, mental motor and very very rare Both hemis are only 2 valve, but the Chrysler one is still the basis for all the 4000hp TopFuel motors ;D Albeit with Keith Black Blocks etc Either way its twin turbos on a Big block (around 7 litres) with decent heads so could easily be 1800hp ;D ;D HTH Dom

Don't all ford v8's have the dizzy caps at the front? The plug leads all go forwards but I think thats running Full Management rather than a Dizzy ? The Cammer motor if it is one, didnt have a lot in common with any other motor though....

Anyone found the radiotor yet? I haven't!

MWF in da house: don't seem to go anywhere near a normal dizzy location.
The Chrysler Hemi has the distributor run of the cam on the right front side of the block but that would put it right under the turbos and would not make sence. It looks like a Chrysler Hemi since the valve covers on the Ford SOHC are slightly different but not 100% about that, it's NOT a Ford flathead with Ardun heads that I know....
Annyway the motor is awesome but in that car??? makes more sence when you look at the plate, it's Norwegian!!!! You guys shoul here the "Norway jokes" here in Sweden......

The top fuel engines are crackingo n for 8000bhp now. The NHRA decided they wanted to know the power output for a TF engine and built a dyno for it. They then contacted arias of KB or some one to build an engine, the engine builder thought this was funny and so built a 'special motor just for the dyno'. They duly put this engine on the dyno, ran it up and promptly blew the dyno to shreds. Waaayyyyyy wayyyyy too much power!
The only real way to measure the power is to use strain gauges on the chassis, the deflection will give the power output.
The TF cars are also running 340mph+ in the states, thats crazy fast

TP wont be as fast as its been over recent years thought, the regs are continually changing to attempt to slow things down.
