ive been non-stop since saturday! Decided to clear out my garage and storage unit on saturday and work out what i was keeping and selling .... this is how it looked half way thru! on sunday i cleaned up irocco's old rims (for Tash's car) and got them sprayed satin black. They look excellent . ..... but i cant seem to get the photo off my phone! while the motogp was on i built this little model i saw in halfords and couldnt resist! then today had a meeting in Norwich, so stopped off to check on the bug en route ... the fronts all cleaned up now and you can see here how the channel needed to be cut away for the shell to clear the old cage. This side needs to be repaired and this side has been repaired another hole found, and ready to be repaired and with the body now off the chassis, this is how the chassis looks ....

thanks the cage/chassis was done at Chris Isaacs. Pics of his workshop can be seen on the previous pics i posted while the car was there. Its now at my mates workshop over in Romford. Their place is massive, 3 units with all the toys. They specialise in Lotus', but the guy who doing my metal work loves his rods so he's having a ball playing with my bug.

And i appear to have one ignition lead the wrong size hopefully it will solve the less than perfect running. in an ideal world the bug will be done for Volksworld 06. As ever with this thing though, no promises ;D
