Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Ask me at work while I've got none of my stuff around?! Grrr... Don't think it's Compagno, but maybe early Toyota Publica? Wheels are interesting, they look like some I've seen which were available here in the UK years ago. Where did this picture come from mercmad? Edit: Quick Google on Publica turned up this.... from here..... www.toyota.co.jp/Museum/data_e/a03_09_1.htmlWow, this Toyota Museaum site looks nice! So, my answer is Publica UP10, 1961 onwards, 700cc approx

Bingo!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D,Yes ! A toyota 700,I would say it would have to be ,either one of the First toyotas imported to OZ or some one has bought it in as a used import.I have never seen one before ,although really old Toytas are represented by the "Tiara",Sedans,Station wagons and utes.Mostly old beatup relics run by Retro enthusiasts The Wheels would also have to be period J car items because I've never seen anything like them before. I took the pic outside the local merc Wrecker, who imports most of his stock from J land and salty old UK!. ;D

Here we go, do these look similar? These are Midland Metallic MkII, from 1971. I'd be interested to know if they were also available from abroad, and MM were just marketing them here. Just doing a bit of research on wheels, hopefully you will see some results of it here in the future.
