Well, here is one of those posts I was not sure to post or not, but decided to post, as it was nice to make a usefull item for a pound initial investment. Nicola made me buy this skimmer board a few weeks ago at a bootfair. This week I found an old Barbie barstool with backrest.... Perfect. I cut it up into bits, thenused the bits the way I wanted to , some satin black and a few wingnuts later, I have nice little table to take ith when we go camping , or need a smal central table. Hope it is worthy of being here. Trial fitment. Bits welded as needed, and cut back. Satin black (thanks Hairnet) DONE. Holes in top filled witj brown Hammerite, Folded, ready to be packed.

Love wingnuts for certain jobs.
Two f these got springwashers too, so the table should stay a table.

Make it a quick release so you can skim some beaches when the mood takes you....or have the facility to quickly fit some trucks and have a 'fatboy' skateboard to show those longboards how it should be done ;D Nice work Rian, certainly a cool table. Taking it a stage furhter, how about making some matching little fold up stools out of some old skateboards?

Will keep my eyes open at the local tip, they are always getting stuff like that. The folding bits will be easy to make up too. Here is Google's reply
