Well, the story goes. I got this just after i passed my test back in 2001 for £50, plain grey, Bit tatty, But did the job well! I got it when i was moving cause at 17 no one wants to lend u a van! I didnt really have any pics of it because it was "just the trailer" but here u can just see it in the back ground on this scanned pic of my fess...
it was that colour all over, did loads of miles and helped me out loads when i moved. I had my trailer loaded to the brim, Back of my Fiesta loaded to the max even stuff on the passenger seat and on the roof! Overweight? Good chance!
So anyway once i moved it lived at my moms, It then turned into a bit of a fun trailer. One day me and the missus were so bored we painted it! Sadly i never got any pics (pre digital camera days). Every pannel and part was a different colour, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Lilac u get the idea! We even rainbow striped the rusty metal wheel arches! That didnt last long. It looked a bit naff! Tinted the lights too BAD IDEA!
So anyway, One day we got bored again and got hold of a load of blue paint, this time i decided a few quid was in order so we painted the whole thing blue and put new plastic wheel arches on it! The missus even handpainted the ford logo on the front by hand! Anyone who used to go to the FSOC national day will know it!
Year later on different car, By this time we'd fixed the lid down properly with locks and hinges! Added some tat (see FORD TRUCKS plate and rally style mudflaps for LOLfactor)
As time went on i got a spare wheel for it, jockey wheel, put a new lighboard and reflectors on it, painted the tailgate black. Brought a nice clean new cover that stays in my cupard out the damp when not in use. Fitted some rubber stoppers for the tailgate for when it hit the floor. etc etc.
The next year at billing (note another different sierra lol)
SO ANYWAY
Today, yuuuuuuuuuuuuup, With some camping trips coming, RRG09, etc etc, i decided after over 12 months in the garage it needed tidying....( plus we were bored)
So we dug it out, Stuck all the stickers on i'd been gathering, American plates, touched up a few tatty paint sections and most importantly, The missus chequered my roof! I've just took it back to the garage and took the wheels off to repaint this week. I've also ordered a correct numberplate! I put a new plywood false floor in, So i have the clean ply for camping stuff, which i can take out to leave the dirty metal floor for car bits! I also have to repaint inside as it's looking a bit tatty now. So anyway here it is!
Erh... thats about it, Hope u like ;D
