There's beer with your name on it if someone around glasgow can help me with a little welding job. I bought a Chrysler Neon (RT) as a fixer upper and it had a bit of accident damage on the back of the sill. I've pulled the dent out with a slide hammer, which meant drilling a couple of holes in it. Now I could just fill it with liquid metal and bosh some filler on it but I'd rather get them welded up and do it properly. The problem is I don't have a welder or know how to weld. It's all prepared and the holes are maybe 5mm across below the rear door. Here's the shed in question.

A good dollop of primer first and then a bit of filler, would probably do less damage than welding! do i get a beer now?

I was going to fill the holes with liquid metal then filler over it but I thought welding it up would be better. Maybe I'm better going with liquid metal if the weldings going to be messy. Here ye' go

I'm just down the road in troon. What do you drive and i'll keep an eye open for you? I've thought about buying a welder but it would just encourage me to buy a rustier car to have something to weld.

Give this site a go. It's like a reverse ebay for delivery. You put in were you want the car to be picked up and were you want it delivered to then various delivery companies/mans in vans bid for your business. It takes a few days for the low bids to come in but I was looking to bring up a mk1 Cav from down south a while back and the price I ended up with was very reasonable. I didn't end up buying the car though. www.shiply.com/
