Hi everyone!
Does anyone know where I can get some decent locking valve caps please? My skull and crossbones ones have been stolen by the thieving lowlifes around here, and just to beat then at their own game can anyone suggest a good locking replacement. Typical, leave the car in London or Swansea and it's fine - park the car in some scuzzy village in West Wales, and they're gone!

The stock black ones keep disappearing off the Mini when it's parked around Runcorn, but at 99p for a replacement set it's not too bad. You really can't do much about it I don't think, as has been suggested I'd keep them for "show use only"...

Richy, I was going to suggest the Cosmic locking ones I have, they have a small grub screw to lock them, I say was going to suggest them, but discovered this afternoon some thieving little turd had managed to relieve my car of two of these! little f*ckers! I know your pain dude. You could do what I have done, waz them up super tight with a socket/protected pliers, but beware, checking tyre pressures/topping up slow punctures will be a bit difficult!

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

put Anthrax on them. That'll sort them.
in all seriousness, just leave them off. put it down to a scumbags, you've had something nicked but don't let it ruin your day. hopefully karma will take over and the scum will ride his bike, complete with nice dustcaps, into a canal and drown.

Either spanner or flush ones.
Or brush a slight layer of brake fluid over them.

As for the Italian porn star link - you think I've not heard that before.....?

I know Richbrook is a boy racer brand but they do plain locking valve caps, they open with a special key, and just spin if you try to twist them by hand.
Heavy valve caps knock my balancing out though so I'm now wearing ultra trendy black plastic ones.

Mooneyes Shop on line: 69.20.111.53/ Roadhouseretro are a distributor for Mooneyes in the UK if that helps. This is one of the reasons I had Antera's fitted to my Polo as the valves are placed behind the locking wheelnut cover, a very good idea from the Antera chaps
