Righty-ho, have not been on here for quite some time due to having no car, although I have been browsing...
So, I'm back, and picking up a free 1996 (retroish perhaps?) 416i which I've been offered for free with a few months tax/mot, plans are to smoke around in it as it is (ish) until September when I'll put it in for a mot, if it passes/needs little work doing I will put some plans into action!
Noticed they are 4x100 which means lots of choice, what offset are they?
Any pictures of modified examples? Thinking a euro-ish theme...

Is that the "bubble" shape 400? My old man had one a few years back. I reckon Googling modified Rover 400s will throw up all manner of horrors ;D. But, smoothed and slammed with some deep dish rims is surefire WIN on pretty much any 90's car!

Yep, the one the similar shape to the MG ZS... A quick google was rather unsuccessful, haha! Pick it up next tuesday, pretty much planning on dumping it in the weeds and rocking some wide wheels with a few other bits and pieces A no lose car!

It's a Photoshop. And it's a 200. But it does also contain a fairly large amount of WIN.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

oooh i went to beaulieu a few weeks back for a drive in the early hours of the morning (givin the polo a rag lol) and while following a mates courtesy s4 we came accross one of these staved into a tree at the side of the road with the rear brake lights on.... hmmmmm that s.h.i.t me up thinking someone might be inside?? , we got out and walked over with a torch. and found nothing but it running (albeit chuggin to death) and the door open with a copious amount of blood on the steering wheel (from there head causing the hole in the windscreen no doubt) ran round the otherside expecting dead guy and found door open. no trace of anyone and one hotwired ignition... i cared till the point i saw that, curse word em, out in the middle of no where , shouldnt of nicked it eh ?

^ Spooky i'd be very nervous looking into a car like that, bit squeamish me..... Modified 400 you say....... cue a Mynheer horror story.........like this mmmmmmmmmmm tasteful ok again a 200 but still...... Delta kit or Carzone Kit ok that sucks thus far however...errr multispokes look good i imagine it'd pull off touring car look fairly well.... or with some dish but this looks quite good imo especially coupled with some turbo power

Haha, looks like I have my work cut out then... What ever happened to Mynheer? They were based local-ish to me and aI had the misfortune of seeing their Volvo a few times, a good advert for kids to lay off the crack-pipe...

Yeah looked good as a touring car... MG ZS, but same car. This don't look half bad either imo Get hold of this front bumper... And you'd have touring car look sorted. All later model cars shown here though. For the early (96) 400, euro look would win best imo. That 25 with the Ronal turbos has it spot on. Shame its not real. First one to build it?

You've got your work cut out if you're gonna avoid the 'barried-up parents' cast-off' look!

Sorry, not normally negative but I think just leave it alone. It won't look good, use it as a hack and avoid spending money on mods that won't work. I say this even though I ran one of these for 2 years myself so I have nothing against them.

You could go hunting for the facelift bumper and wheels. It really wasn't bad in it's final incarnation as the 45. A quick google also shows you should be able to get ZS Front and Rear bumpers for about 40 quid each.
