Seeing as there's a few VW people in here, I thought I'd throw this one open.
A bloke I work with's got a Corrado 16v, and it's got an intermittant oil pressure warning light problem that's driving him up the wall.
After a blast up the motorway, the oil pressure warning buzzer comes on as soon as the revs drop below 2.5k, but then the buzzer stops when it gets to 3k. He's changed the oil & filter and can confirm that the oil is reaching the top of the engine. He tried changing the senders, but there are 2 on the Corrado, and GSF only had one of them, so when he opened the box to change that one, the sender turned out to be broken.
He's waiting for some new senders to come in, but isn't sure the senders are at fault. Is this a common thing on Corrados or other VWs?
