Yeow! That is nice, and rare! Looks better that a lot of aftermarket estate conversions - this one looks factory!

The guy wants £1800 for it, I would say looking at some of the crazy scene taxed to death stuff out there, including the Ford scene, I would rather have a decent estate same size as a Mk3/4 Cortina and know they are rare, but still basic like all fords.
The lines do well for light rodding like this one is.
Perfect place to start something spectacular.
Details available if anyone wants to have a punt.

Clarification, Grizz? Abbott converted a sedan into this? Or was it a Ford line-produced estate, and THEN Abbott did some customization to it? Corsairs... sorry, I know nothing of them whatever...

Hi Norm, AFAIK , They started with this at Abbott and created the estate. This one was there last night, probably the equivalent of your Capri's in sedan form.

MKII's and I'm pretty sure MKIII's were converted with steel.
Is a very nice car

My Mk3 deffo had a glass tailgate, and I'm fairly sure it had a glass roof too,

And how things have changed. Trophy winner in its day. Looks kinda familiar, is that Obsession? Know the guy who built it and remember seeing it stripped down in a barn several years ago. Literally had to dig our way in as the door was so overgrown Shell looked good and I believe the rest of it was still up in his loft Think it may have been passed to his daughter and either is, or has been threatened with a resto If so the Humber in the back of the second pic has been rescued from a lock up as well and now belongs to an RR member.
