Sorry to be negative but why go to all the trouble of finding slots, getting them drilled to fit your car and then disguising the fact that you've got slots ON your car??!
Sack the black off, polish em till you're fingers are sore and rock the mags in all they're glory IMO! If you're still concerned about the extra holes, get em welded up!?
BTW incase you were wondering- Slot mags are my favourite wheel in the world EVAR! ;D

sorry to be boring but could you take a photo of the back of the wheel for me please? Iv been wanting to run my spare 13" SLOTS on my mx5 for ages now and was put off re drilling them by people on here, quite rightly I might add as they where only looking after me in safeties sake but you've got me re interested again now! I need to go from 4" to 100mm see, Thanks Chris

My imediate reaction was 'what, NO! What are you doing!!', but I actually think they would look pretty cool with the black middle and silver Nissan caps. Novel idea mate. I don't know how you would get the cap to sit on there right though as the original wheels have a recess for the nuts to go and the wolfies don't, so you might not get the centre cap to sit flush with the wheel Might spoil the idea a bit. The hub caps fit over the nut heads to hold them on, so even with the wolfies the nuts will sill be in the same place. So the caps locate, but yeah the caps don't sit flush with the wheel. Sorry to be negative but why go to all the trouble of finding slots, getting them drilled to fit your car and then disguising the fact that you've got slots ON your car??! BTW incase you were wondering- Slot mags are my favourite wheel in the world EVAR! ;D I bought 'em ready drilled, they cropped up at reasonable money at a time when I had some to spend. I didn't initially intend to buy slots but they were what I found. Having said that I have no problem being slots, and slots should in most cases be polished and have red (or possibly yellow) inserts - thats just how it should be. But the full polished slots in yer face look would not work on the micra. I never intened then to be utterly disguised more make it less obvious and to fit more with the design of the car. To encourage a "what are those wheels then - 'kin 'ell he's running slots on that micra " kind of response. sorry to be boring but could you take a photo of the back of the wheel for me please? I need to go from 4" to 100mm see, Here's the rear view. Admitedly it doesn't look quite right, but having thought about it it doesn't seem there should be a problem. Where the area around the new holes is thinned out it is on the outside, meaning that for the nut to pull though there would have to be side ways or inwards movement on the other nuts, and the taper also spreads the load further on the mounting face. Having said that I stand to be corrected. These wheels were bought from a member on here (who I think had them drilled) he has lots of experience and some great builds under his belt. He was also using these wheels on his wifes car. So if he was 100% confident about them I reckon I can be too.

You know... I like the cap idea, but then ofcourse hides the nice colour scheme Maybe get some shorter bolts to go in the holes but not go through the other side... maybe something cool like spikes

You'll feel a million dollars the morning after, I guarantee.

He was also using these wheels on his wifes car. ;D Mark..... Mark..... Mark..... so based on them being on a wifeycar, you presume there was extra safety consciousness involved? Have you ever heard of Count Von Bulow, OJ Simpson, or Henry The 8th? Status of "wife" is no guarantee of "safety". ;D
