I've done this to one wheel, and now I'm not sure. The point of the exersize is to make it so that on a cursury glance you would not nessarsarily notice that they are slots. Should I continue as is, paint up to the next natural break on the return of the rim, or break out the Nitromors?

IMO, I think it looks great. A great way to highlight the shiny rim Not normally a fan of slots but they transform them. Go for it.

I like it, but the amount of holes makes them look like Halfords specials ;D

Cheers for the positives.
The black is also to help disguise that the wheels have been re-drilled. I might still come up with some sort of blanking scheme for the extra holes.

That looks lovely! They look surprisingly unlike slots with just a lick of paint! Think they're painted to exactly the right place tbh.. might even be tempted to steal your idea

I forgot how to retro...

I tried this with mine a while back instead of the metalflake gold. I thought it looked a little too dark so I polished the very edge/rim of each 'slot'. I have picture somewhere

This is the plan. It wont be going quite so low, about 50mm is the swmbo imposed maximum. Possibly with the base spec centers, either in silver or black.

My imediate reaction was 'what, NO! What are you doing!!', but I actually think they would look pretty cool with the black middle and silver Nissan caps. Novel idea mate. I don't know how you would get the cap to sit on there right though as the original wheels have a recess for the nuts to go and the wolfies don't, so you might not get the centre cap to sit flush with the wheel Might spoil the idea a bit.
