Its another house modding thread.
Probably the worst aspect of our house now is the bathroom suite, I can only assume somebody who was colourblind fitted the old set as its a gross snot green colour, so last weekend we set about rectifying that:
Before:
As it was already damaged, it didn't take much poking to get to this, the plank at the bottom is soaking wet and rotten and will need replacing.
SnotSink, your days are numbered.
Of course the downside of this is having all the bathroom curse word in the dining room:
Cutting out the bath:
Feet screwed to the floor; rusted rounded screws
Hired help:
This is where we realised we'd have to knock a few tiles out to get the bath in
Sleeping on the job:
With the bath in, (Its tilted towards the plug end to match the slant of the tiles) and the workers on their lunchbreak, I start on the sink.
Obligitory hairy shot:
My Fiancee, happy with the progress (!?!?!)
Second hand sink loses it's second hand pipework:
After some buggering about, the sink fitted:
Nearly there:
This is the end of day pic, toilet still to do as the replacement won't fit without a lot of arsing around.
Costs so far: £8 for a tube of white sealant (I did have an old tube of cheap stuff but it was curse word)
