Found this pic in an old thread.... So...Anyone got pics of cars that look like they were rolled into a barn 20 or 30 years ago and then rolled out nowadays..? *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Competition cars, that is...not just random barn finds.

penski in da house: cars that look like they were rolled into a barn 20 or 30 years ago and then rolled out nowadays
Sorry no pix but you guys should come here to Sweden, specially Värmland, Dalarna and Roslagen where everybody dreams of beeing a Björn Waldegård, Tommi Mäkinen or Petter Solberg. Every small town out there has a bunch of these Rally wannabees made of older Opel Ascona, Saab 99 & 900, Golf, Ford Escorts and the likes, tons of Cibie & Hellas!!!!!

Kinda what I had planned for my next project Mini. A Mk1 circuit racer 'barn find' with a few tweeks to make it super trick. I love collecting period accessories for it. I probably derive more enjoyment from collecting parts than I do from nailing it all together!

To my knowledge that last raced in '76. I competed in it at an event in 2003 though. It is currently under going a rebuild, 1380, split webers, 649 cam, sccr box, lsd, race head etc etc. Some of you may have seen it in track and race car mag under 'staff cars'.
Can't wait until it is done, should be fapping quick.
