Here is my freshly emptied shed ready for destruction and carting off to the recycling centre. I stopped for a coffee and while I was gone this happened. my 5yr old and 2yr old took it apon themselves to move in and play house which in turn lead to this. which did'nt really work so,after carefully leaning a 5yr old up against the door to get some measurements sorted I set to work.BTW thats not a dead pig in the corner its my English bull terrier catching some shade shortening each panel to match the door was fairly straight foward and did'nt take long. by end of play yesterday this is as far as I'd got but,I got stuck in again this morning and by lunchtime I was ready to start painting. after a family trip to Homebase and a dispute over colours between my son and daughter we settled for forest green. It's not quite what I intended to do with an otherwise surplus shed and the children (as they do : want it done yesterday but they'll have to wait until tuesday before work can begin again.

This project has turned out to be such good fun,I've been rushing home to get it done before it gets late and or the weather turns.Progress is being made on a daily, yesterday I fitted the door and painted and fitted the window. today I've felted the roof and fitted battoning to the front edge. it's great being a Dad,you get to be a kid with power tools!

Wish my dad would have made me something like that!
Best I got was an old boy up the road gave me some rod to use as an axle on a bit of plywood I called a gokart after I spent a day passing him spanners when he changed the engine in his metro"

I have to admit the door is currently a little bit wide.I can't make up my mind wether to do that, put in a window or do this so it opens top and bottom.
