hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I thought id post some pics of my honda. I was given the bike by my uncle ealy this year and have since rebuilt the brakes with new springs and shoes, painted the swing arm and parts of the frame, rebuilt the carb, rebuilt the top end (lapped valves, cleand of the carbon, new seals and gaskets and polished the ports) painted the stripes back onto the tank and generally given everything a good polish. i cant figure out how to add pictures please help!!!!!!! i click the add picture button on the new message page and then what do i do? do i need to upload my pictures to an online sharing site? sorry about my non existant computer knowledge!!

lol I had the same issues! Right upload pics to an online site.. photobox, imageshack and the like, then click the little add image button in the reply box.. it will add two 'tags' copy and paste the web address of the picture you want inbetween those and all should be good!

The tank was rotten on mine when I got it.
Looks like you've got a very early K1 there.
I think mine is still on the road, sold it to a kid in Thorrington and have seen it about in Colchester

Had a superdream too, sprayed that satin black ;D

ha ha, I had an 87 CG as my first bike it was great, a mate had it before me and sprayed it metallic purple.....
The tank was rot, the bottom split outside work one day and I lost nearly 3 pounds of petrol! Still had enough juice floating around to get me 3 miles home.
It got nicked soon after that. if anyone ever saw D488 HHM....well....the police didnt!
