Splendid! Your neighbours must think there's some kind of lawnmower running amok in their street.

And so it ends. Regular readers will recall me regretfully putting it up for sale a few weeks ago, citing trouble at work.....suffice to say it didn't remain for sale for long, and this afternoon has seen me clearing my curse word out of it and getting it ready to travel to it's new home tomorrow. It's not all bad news though, for it's going to another longtime RR member (no names.....I'll let him start his own thread when he gets it home) who has plans for it, so you'll still be able to plot its progress on these hallowed pages. The ownership experience has been interesting, educational, and fun. The cars are brilliant, quirky and WAY more capable than you'd think. The owners are, by and large, the most madcap bunch of party animals you're ever likely to meet, helpful and generous to the last. Will I have another? Maybe, had I discovered them 20 years ago, I'd have been fully assimilated into Deux Chevaux ownership. But at 45? Probably not. So that's it....for the first time since March 2006, I'm down to just one car....and what's more it's a modern (ish....1998) car with absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever other than its reliability/economy......and you know what? Right now, that's all I want. AU REVOIR, HELLBILLY.

Sad to see it going Brian. Do hope the tide turns and something interesting comes your way again soon.

Sad to see it going. I think we all got a bit caught up on Brian's ownership of that one!

It was fun while it lasted! And hey, maybe in time you'll miss it so much you buy another! Or something else entirely! I've really enjoyed reading about your adventures with Hellbilly. As I've said before, your enthusiasm was so contagious! Onwards and upwards.
