Me and my mate Lowie just had an interesting evening with my sat-nav, Its one of the infamous Myguide ones that the manafacturers have never released updates for. To be honest its an excelent bit of kit with outdated and simple software So what did we do.... Well, first up we binned the 256meg sd card and stuck a 2 gig one in, then conned it into running tom-tom software, not being satisfied with that we also loaded Igomyway onto it.... then windows explorer, an mp3 player some games and alot of stuff we don't need ;D managed to get every lpg garage in britain onto it aswell, next up is maps for europe, asia, america, africa and australia! and maybe some good sounds. Video player and slide show should be do-able aswell Why did we do this.... cos we could and i wanted a list of lpg garages  At points it was just an expensive mp3 player, but thanks to lowies programming skills that was soon overcome ;D |

Have been using the works sat nav a bit recently and I don't kno wif they are available, but I reckon you should be able to download different voices or accents fot the person talking. Such as -
Annoying brummie
Foxy swede
Angry geordie
etc

I think you'll need a bigger card, France is almost a gig by itself on my garmin maps. :S Top work though.  |

Such as - Annoying brummie Foxy swede Angry geordie etc You can also get a sat-nav voiceover by Mr. T! Perfect for all drivers of 1980s vans... |

Such as - Annoying brummie Foxy swede Angry geordie etc You can also get a sat-nav voiceover by Mr. T! Perfect for all drivers of 1980s vans... I have Mr T and Burt Reynolds on my TomTom. Mr T is amusing for about the first 10 minutes, then is just annoying. Burt, on the other hand, has a perfect voice for SatNav, and has been my default for many months! |

Aaah I've got one of those poxy MyGuide satnavs, the maps are appallingly out of date. Any info on how you did this (ie software, cables etc) would be MUCH appreciated! Give me a couple of days and i'll sort you links, all you need is a bigger sd card  Ive got the voice packs in it and at the moment have a seargent major shouting at me, ozzy was swearing at me the other night aswell ;D |

On my cheapy navigo (2gb card) I've got tomtom, igo, Mio map and windows CE plus much more. You need to register to access downloads. Hope this helps. |

i don't suppose anyone knows how to install tom tom or similar data onto an rac 200 or where to download the data,mines somehow erased the sd card and ive lost the rac route 66 set up disc to re install ,think its running windows ce or something at the moment ,heeeelp!!!!
