Okay, so I promised I'd start a build thread for this thing once I did some more ish to it, so here it is, lol.
Here's the car when I first got it a few months ago. I got this and a turbo ma70 supra in trade. Original plan was to pull the motor out of the supra and drop it into this thing, but I decided to just keep this as a reliable daily driver. Plus have working a/c and all the cressida comforts is great!
I bought these wheels from a friend for $100, and did a ton of polishing and resto work, but still an awesome deal!
I then cut the springs to get it to this ride height, and put the wheels on it.
I also did some interior ish. I got this Nardi wheel for free from a friend. It was broken, but I was able to repair the cracked wood and relaquer it (You'll find I get alot of my stuff this way, freeor cheap, but broken or worn out, and a little elbow grease get's it shiny again). I also got this Luxis shift knob, and that's a CROWN royal whiskey bag as a shift boot, lol.
Then I painted the wheels, and put a little bit better suspension under it (lowering kit for ma60 supra, with a few coils cut, lol). I'm planning on upgrading the front suspension to coilovers soon, then it will sit lower in the front, hopefully tuck some tire. The rear is right where I want it though.
And today, I started putting the fresh 1978 interior out of my mx32 into this, lol. Looks straight out of a '70s pimp car, haha. I love it. Rear seat dropped right in, locked into all the factory spots. The fronts I am still working on. One bolt lined up, I am working on brackets to get the rest to go in.
There you go! I'll start a build thread for my other 2 cars when I actually get something done on one of them, lol. You'll see the threads sooner or later!
