I'm new here, was told it was a good forum by your very own Mr. Tait so here I am!
Currently own;
1x Sunburst 1972 Ford Escort MK1 (automatic)
1x 1991 Quicksilver Mini Cooper Mainstream (carburettor)
1x Black 1980 Mini Super which is undergoing a fairly unusual engine conversion.
My daily hack is a Carribean Blue Rover Metro GTi MPi fairly modified but not at all in the usual "Kev" fashion.
Externally its standard albiet with some rear bumper trim from an earlier higher spec GTi, some Rover 100 rear light clusters and a Rover 100 boot handle. Internally it now has a Rover 100 dashboard, Rover 100 airbag type steering wheel (wired in and "works" ) cruise control, electric windows, an alarm and immobiliser from a Rover 25 with passive immobilistaion and remote central locking, a CCU unit from a Rover 400 (controls a variety of niceties such as, lights on warning, interior light fader, and the rear wiper comming on when the front ones are active and you select reverse) there are many more Rovery modifications on the car, and many more planned. Not bad for a daily hack!
Cheers then!
