Thats 20/05/09 for those of you not reading this today.
Nice venue, no line dancing or bingo this time (shame on you TrevMk3!) but a good oportunity to chat a bunch of rubbish with some fine fellows.
Most of the cars present seemed to be of the blue oval persuasion, strange as I understand the event was being promoted on NuSkoolVectra.com, eh TreV?
N.E.wai
pix are as follows, appologies for poor quality as these are phone-cam only.
Mk1 Fiestas are the new Rock-n-Roll BTW. check the potential if you didn't already.
Tubby Celica broght back fond memories of our old Gen6 2.0GT - cheap cars now. Try one.
PaulMi16 has made some subtle improvements to the 205, including a lower strut brace, lowering the front to lose the gasser stance and a set of more period looking number plates.
Nathan made some more significant improvements on the MGB by leaving it at home and coming in a Capri instead ;D
You know, I'm sure I own one of these....
How can a shape like that have ever been out of style. Lovely.
This Mk1 Escort was so clean that it was actually repelling dirt from the car park all around it. (it was later joined by a red one but I forgot to get a pic of that one)
Benz, sorry Saabboy and Street turned up in Dean's new whip, the BMW being no more.
Street had just picked up these koolio rimzz for his Rover, Paul reckons with spacers they'd look da bomb on my Lexus.
Yeah, can anyone find me some NOS Kelly Superchargers please?
So there you haz it. If you weren't there, you were onviously elsewhere.
CU@ the next one or catz will be posted.
