For last years Scottish VW show in Biggar our club was asked to come up with an event to run in the arena.
I had had the idea of soapbox racing but this cant be done on a flat grass field so after thinking about it came up with cardboadr car rallying.
Basic rules. Cars can be made from pretty much anything but have to be carried and fit 2 passengers.
The usual auto tests and races would then be run.
Hard to explain so have a look at some pics from last year;
This years show is this weekend and I'm hoping my green fastback will win again (just need to find drivers) but I am expecting a lot of competition now that people know what to expect.
