Hi there all,
Does anyone have access to a free, or very cheap, donation type trade CO2 gasbottle, or even a "size Y" CO2 or ARGON-Mix bottle from an old welding setup for me ?
Prefer to collect in the greater kent area, or Croydon and Greenwich is good.
I did go to the local tip today and there was a very tidy/new one and when I asked, the answer was "Property of the Council when it touches the ground here "
I want to get it refilled to use on the welder I bought today.

there is a pub bottle down our local yard if anyone in this area needs one..
I really need a size Y argshield BOC bottle if there is one around?

I have 2 large ex MOD Co2 bottles used to use em myself before I got a BOC contract, got them filled at a fire extinguisher servicer for very little, they're free to a good home (though if someone wants to come and get them from Kent  they could bring the axle I just bought there with them! |

Nice one oldbus!
I'm now hijacking this thread as I'm after one too.. preferably full, I don't mind paying for it or for it to be filled but am yet to find a friendly filling place near me. An definately looking for something much cheaper than a boc/adams etc. new one!
