They're so sh!t, they're good! Stick 'em on the bay - I'll have a bid edit - Oh , hang on these are A series, probably won't fit my K series GTI. Nevermind, like I only buy bits for cars I actually own

Never seen an Autoplas side window kit before! Have you got both of them? With a bit of back to black they would come up pretty well i reckon. Surely a metro owner on here would want them? If i had one id take them off your hands immediately! Similarly, if you ever come across any polo ones, let me know

Yeah both side panels are there, with the fitting tabs too! I think the side window bits are extremely rare as most people bought just the back one. Add to that the fact that most panels never survived this far and I reckon this is a hens teeth sorta kit! ;D In those photos it wasn't even hosed down - still had 20-odd years of garage muck covering it. Looks a lot better now it's clean. It is for an A-series, yeah. The guy at Autoplas says it's listed as a Mini Metro so I guess that means it'll fit right up to when they started making the Rover Metro with the K-Series and changed the body shape? I'd love to see a MG Metro Turbo with this kit on. Eighties-tastic!

Awesome. Get some pictures of them all clean! I don't want to attack anyone planning on buying these, but id put a big price on these. On the right car (MG turbo, slightly lowered, matching 80s style small rims...) it could make it a absolute show winner. This may have inspired me to do a drawing... lol. May we ask how you came across them and what (if anything) you paid? Gotta be worth over a ton.

Thanks uncleterry, yeah I was sort of thinking that this kit might be valuable, with it being so rare and all. Me and my bro cleared an old garage and found it languishing beneath a load of dust and cobwebs, so didn't cost anything (it was just junk to the guy). At the time we didn't know what it was off, we just thought it looked cool! ;D
I might stick it on eBay, I was just concerned that it wouldn't be "searched for", so wouldn't get many people looking. But I reckon with the right title it might get some interest. It all goes towards the Benz fund (well, half... the other half goes towards my brother's Family Dragster fund! ;D)

Ah well, no loss if it does go for £20 then i guess. I'm sure someone will say "whatever you think its worth, youre not going to buy it are you?" But then if i did have the right metro i would pay over a ton for this... If i were you id promote it about here first, see whats offered, then ebay it if its a no-go. Or you could buy a metro... Good luck with the sale!
