Unless I'm much mistaken, I didn't think you could do this on kit-cars? If I am correct, then maybe this is the point Bstardchild is trying to make? I thought that was the case - but I'm not 100% sure Did some digging - Only Q plated kit cars are unable to be changed - learn something new every day

It's true they're never finished. I fitted the tonneau cover yesterday and have the wing mirrors to pop on this aft, but this is basically how it'll stay till I at least have the new Escort on the road and probably the Superminx too. So in about a year's time I'll probably be trying to stop myself buying a clapped out XJR for its lovely Supercharged 6! Great plan - do it www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=991067&mid=27951&nmt=RE:%20SOTW:%20Jaguar%20XJRCan't believe those cars have got down to less than a grand!!!

The car looks AMAZING! As Matt says, better than a real one. ;D The wheels are a perfect choice. Everything just works so well.... Congrats on the MOT and well done for making this car something special. I like to think that just out of view in this shot (obscured by steering wheel/dash) is the maaassssive grin of a very proud man. You should be. Brilliant stuff.....

Looks really good. You know what though. With those wheels on I think it is crying out for some narrow band whitewalls and some stylish thin scallops or something.

Cheers for the nice comments again guys. Showing the before pic certainly highlights the change!
Had this on the rolling road on Tuesday. Now running much better, but have got some more needles on order to try sort the tip-in and light load performance as it's still lean there. Good news is it was off the rollers 200bhp scale by just 3000rpm! Feels pretty damn quick now ;D
Really must get the hard top sorted out, but still enjoying driving it too much!

Simply gorgeous. I'd be happy with zero bhp and just have it on the drive to polish!

I love E-Types, but I'd have this one over a genuine Jaguar... Nuff said
