Is local motorfactors having a Laugh?
This weekend helped friend 'sort out' a cheep fiesta for his Nephew (which his Nephew had bought) to learn to drive in. Usual Stuff required ...Track rod ends, bit of welding, Two tyres and Two brake pipes. We nip round local muppet Tyre Centre for two tyres ... no probs, weld patch on sill ...no probs and Nip up to local motorfactors who have existed in adjacent town for Decades to purchase two trackrod ends ...no probs and get 'em to make two brake pipes up ...TOTAL PROBLEM ...they state they are no longer permitted to make them as of end of last year
The motorfactors is highly respected and has supplied local towns for decades naturally this was first we'd heard!
Not the end of the world because local garage round corner who knew friend made some up.
Question is how true is all this, I've seen nor read anything, woundered if other people had experianced this when wanting brake pipes made up?
