Evening all, just seen this today and was mightily impressed with the way Crayford managed to make it work in a smoothed rear deck kind of way... Thought you might appreciate it. It's basically a Mk3 2.8 underneath and inside, but a genuine Crayford Mk1 on top. Really nice car whether you like the colour/wheels/interior or not.
Oh, ignore the fit of the bonnet in the third (?) shot, the owner knows it's not the best but hasn't had time to fix it...
Got me thinking though, my favourite treatment used to be 'cut the roof off it and fit a four foot gearstick'...
Then thought about a Rover P6 we chopped the roof off that worked quite well and wondered if anybody else had some examples of vehicles with the roofs removed that worked surprisingly well.
I seem to remember there was a Leyland truck once that was a convertible...
