Thought i'd bang these up seeing as pretty much any collection goes in this board. Now, I've been playing guitar (amoungst other instruments) for nearly 15yrs now and have been through maybe 100 guitars ranging from obscure 60's japanese oddities to £4000 Gibsons, but a few years ago, everything had to go due to a 'have-to-eat' situation and have only recently started building up a formidable collection... which stands as follows: My current fave, Grestch Jet with Bigsby Trem: Danelectro '63 reissue, for that 60's Garage-punk grit Thinline electro-acoustic, general workhorse Bin-find acoustic, I think from the 70's, needing repair My first acoustic (from when I was 16), the only guitar to survive the 'cull' - and the only one I've ever named (Tucker) Always been an Analogue-head when it comes to effects - digital always sounds a touch 'soulless' to my ears: Analogue delay, Singing Tree germanium-transistor Fuzz, modified Double Muff All this goodness then gets fed through one of these babies depending on mood: Vintage 'Circle Sounds' twin channel 100w head, Epiphone twin 100w modern unit: Which then get fed into both these cabs at once which amount to 6x12" speakers! Plans are, for now, amass as many weird old guitars to fill out the collection. Personal penchant for 50's & 60's Japanese oddities (the more switches the better!) and 60's British axes/period replicas (Burns, Rapier, etc)... so if you've got something weird & old banging around, let me know!

heres most of my older/vinatge and retro orientated guitar stuff 1983 ibanez destroyer, possibly one of the best guitars ive owned. the 2 arion pedals, grey box sch-1 chorus and sad-1 analogue delay are classic examples of 'look cheap but are better than the rest/now lots on ebay' kind of thing. the delay has the Bucket brigade chip which is the chip used in the boss DM2 and other sought after delays, sounds pretty much the same as the boss/pearl equivalent. they are very good and worth picking up if you see cheap. ds-1 is just cheapo boss pedal but its old and beat up. the dano reverse delay takes the delay signal and plays it backwards, excellent bit o kit! the cry baby is an original italian jen wah which was the company that made the vox wah hendrix used, i think its the first model wah ever made but I'm just speculating, has the fasel inductor which gives it its mojo. dan reel echo which simulates the original echoplex tape delay, sounds wickid but doesnt self oscillate unfortunately. the 2 morley pedals are a PFW fuzz wah and a PFL flanger, mental as they look and huge. work off optics rather than potentiometer and have a massive sweep compared to cry baby type pedals very old brazilian made acoustic my mum had bought for her at massive cost in the 60's, my guitar teacher was very enamored by it too, has a nice big mellow sound a teisco applause i got from a boot fair for £4 in 1997 painted it as a project type thing another teisco which was my first guitar bought off a mate for £15, no badge but recently found it's a top twenty model my other most prized guitar, 1971 or 74 mustang, hella play wear but like butter to play, bought as a present to myself for completing 3rd year of uni, imported from usa needed refret and ended up costing 3x more than i wanted to pay initially but made all the difference. roger mayer octavia which is new but it was hand made by mayer, who invented the effect for hendrix, gives an octave up and some fuzz, needs to be played into a fuzz with an overdrive to really get the sound out westone thunder 1, 1983 J made by matsumoku, extremely good quality and well worth picking up as they're always cheap! 1979 yamaha fg512 12 string, vilyat khan indian acoustic sitar and an old EKO which i bought for £5 just the body and neck, bought the other bits and stuck it all together and plays real nice fender p bass apparently 1975, the body is a curse word J copy as it got damaged somehow so the body part was mated to the old neck, also has fender tweed case, gigged to death, played by peter hook and bo diddley also had a quick bash on it, according to the guy i bought it from. ill be selling this as i have barely touched it since bought. this is my home brewed talk box and works perfectly, running off the curse word attack park amp and runs into the driver, up the tube and into the latex tube into your gob, Doooo youoo feeeel liike weee dooooo.... as Frampton says. its good fun to play with thats most of the old stuff ive got, theres some amps and other bits but not really that interesting

I picked up an old Vox amp years ago - I'm pretty sure its called a lead - big old thing and needs a little bit of TLC but I do like it. Will post some pics later. I've also got a handful of guitars, including an old Kay guitar my dad had years ago. I used to think it was terrible to play but I've since jacked up the action, put some 10's on it and play it through an overdrive pedal for a cool slide sound - a bit like Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys. Incidentally, if anyone ever sees an Ibanez lawsuit SG custom going let me know! I would happily sell a kinda/knacker/the cat for one in white! Here are some pics of the Vox - it is a "Lead 50" but I can;t seem to find much information about it. Anyone got any ideas about it?

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have
