Nice one, if you get hold of an XE1541 cable and the 64hdd software you can load games/software/homebrew off your pc.... Nice.

hey what about getting one of those C64 games joysticks that you plug into the TV with phono cables. They have 30 games built in. You can hack them to load other games from a disc drive and use a PC keyboard. Theres some forums about DTV hacking.

I want to get rid of my gamegear, last time I tried it I don't think it worked but if I was perhaps mistaken it may be for sale. I also have the adapter to play megadrive games on it and a couple other bits.

I'm interested ;D I've found it and it's working perfectly on batteries, I'm presuming the AC adapter I got with it is either busted or wrong voltage but there's a slight chance it could be the port on the gamegear. I'm gonna dig out some of the old megadrive games sometime, played the only gamegear game I have and I'm starting to fall in love with the thing, if I decide to sell it I'll make sure to let you know.

Ive been messing around with some of my computers today. My Sega Master system 2 didnt work with my modern Phillips TV the last time I tried it. So I'm thinking of modding the Sega to output composite video. I tried it on the Phillips. It just wouldnt tune in. Ive got an Amstrad CPC rgb monitor. Its got a tv tuner box. So I brought that up to see if its easier to tune. I got some sound and no picture. The Tv rf lead is dead. So got another one and started playing Alex the kid, and Sonic. I connected the lead to the tv. It eventually tuned in to the game but there was no sound. Then I connected the lead to my VHS videos aerial rf in connector. Then tuned the video to the sega. Got the sound then. I don't under stand that. Maybe theres a conflict between my vhs, dvd and free veiw box. When I plug my Playstation or small DVD player into the phonos on the TVs side, they get a low volume. I have a Sony monitor. Think its some video editing monitor or something. Its got loads of connectors and buttons on it. But the composite video in is BNC. Couldnt find my BNC to phono adaptor so soldered a phono flying lead onto the BNCs circuit pads. I was going to drill the panel for a chassis mount phono connector. But theres a cut out under the back panel for a scart connector, where I was wanting to put the Phono socket. Will have to find out if I can solder a scart connector on there. But have found nothing about that monitor on the web. It played ok with my Commodore DTV and my PS1 Played Uridium and street fighter on it
