Hello all This is my girlfriends car and she wants some alloys for it and is looking at all sorts of new shiny alloys but before she takes the new stuff plunge (eying up lenso stage 1's) anyone got recommendations for era appropriate alloys other than the standard ones.  Cheers |

Some might say the world is yor oyster with a mk2 golf!
I say don't go bigger then 16" ,15" is better and style you could write a book.

Seconded !! Renault Turbine's with or without centre caps. With: Now thats messed up my plans.. I like them a lot... thirded ;D If anyone is interested, I do happen to have a set that are now surplas to requirements! Bought them for a project, but something much rarer turned up, so these are sat waiting for a new home. If you know of anyone who wants a set, let me know? (that wasn't the original reason for mentioning them BTW...  ) |

Cups (IMO) only look good on big bumpered,g-arched slammed mk2s.
And Turbines only really look the part on small bumpered ones.
It all depends on budget,size,lowering constraints etc etc.I had around about 12 different sets on my red mk2

Funny you should say that - I was going to swing by Evesham on the way back from picking up the TRD SC last weekend. I was all ready to call you but it had been a long day and my stomach was dictating that home+dinner was a higher priority than visits+ cuppa+banter!
