Right where to start here it was about 10 years ago it was the white one in this pic and here it was about 7 years ago just after becoming mine I had already tidied it up a fair bit by the time this pic was took this is with its old owners new mini then some rust issues and a broken front subframe forced me to doing a nose job so it ended up with a steel removable front then a while later I decided that my 12" rims were to big and it must be on 10" so I did the fiesta caliper conversion so I still had a chance at stopping heres the rusty chrome wellers I brought for the conversion with part worn yoko A008s on them and heres my current Alloys as I brought them then work in progress then the finished item more to come later this lot is from at least 5 years ago Lol

just walked to the local hardware shop for another grinder wheel and the only one he had was wrong which I found out at home so in true bodger style even after finding a pin from the previous one embedded at least 15mm into my arm forty minutes after packing away I came up with but it was a bit unsafe judgeing by the vibration so I only did a quick job on the drivers front thats about it for me today as school run soon now on foot Lol

the drivers side is all welded up now and sill fitted so I am halfway there Lol no pics though as I was in to much of a rush and too messy Lol while the sill was off I braved the dreaded rear subframe mount bolts and the both came out rust free Lol but they are coated in coppergrease now so hopefully when I drop the frame out some point later it should be nice and easy

Blimey that's a lot of modding to take in all at once. LOVE those wheels and the interior's fantastic. And I'm always in favour of random rattlecan paint jobs.
Not sure I understand your plan for the roof though...care to elaborate?

hopefully soon it will have a proper colour the roof issue is I currently have an electric webasto that has shrunk badly and the tension cables have gone so its flappy with daylight visable from inside with spares seemingly non existant this is the better side but now I have brought an old school manual roof which needs minor repairs for now and reskining is and easy task which hopefully will not be too much hassle in fitting as they are totaly different being made 30 years apart Lol
